Hello there.
I am Pierre-Ange Aznar.
I’m an art director and designer born in Lyon and based (for now) in Paris.
I started freelancing in 2016 for various clients while completing my Masters in Art Direction & Communications Strategy at École de Condé in Paris. Then I moved to Los Angeles, California in 2018 to work on international brands at Sid Lee. I had the privilege to work on major global campaigns for The North Face and Dickies. Unfortunately, I had to come back to France due to COVID-19 crisis in 2020 where I took a break from advertising and worked on diverse projects.
But now, I AM BACK.
Ready to take the W.
During my freelance early career, I’ve been working for cool luxury & fashion brands such as Off-White™ and Chanel. Some of my works have been nicely featured on Hypebeast, The Drum and Office Magazine.
During my weekends, I’m creating my own brand with my sister and my brother who are both in industrial design and architecture fields. Hopefully it will see the light in 2022.
I am currently open to full-time job offers. I want to reconnect with the agency/in-house work environnement. I’m able to relocate anywhere in the world, preferably somewhere on the ground.
I am standing for unexpected and bold advertising. I believe that content should speaks directly to the customer itself, the type of work that creates an emotional and deep engagement.
At a time where customers are more and more connected with brands & culture and the advertising landscape is sometimes very stiff, I am constantly trying to challenge myself to go beyond client needs. There is always something new to create. And I’m always willing to learn and try again.
Using the newest technology in a brand activation, mixing deep internet references, telling a completely ironic story or including a niche and cool typography in the visual language are some of the spices I like to add in the mix.
