Hello there. I’m Pierre-Ange Aznar.
I’m an art director and designer based in Paris.
I started freelancing in 2016 for various clients while completing my Masters in Art Direction & Communications Strategy at École de Condé in Paris. I then moved to Los Angeles, California in 2018 to work on global brands at Sid Lee Los Angeles. I had to come back to France due to COVID-19 crisis where I took a break from advertising and worked on diverse projects.
Some of my works have been featured on Hypebeast, The Drum and Office Magazine.
When I’m not working for clients, I’m concepting my own gear with my sister and my brother who are both in industrial design and architecture fields.
I worked on major global campaigns for The North Face and Dickies as well as luxury & fashion brands such as Off White and Chanel.
I am currently open to full-time job offers since I want to reconnect with the agency/in-house work environnement.
I am standing for unexpected and bold advertising. At a time where customers are more and more connected with brands & culture and the advertising landscape is sometimes very stiff, I am constantly trying to challenge myself to go beyond client needs. Trying the newest technology in a brand activation, mixing deep internet references, telling a completely ironic story or using a niche typography in their visual language are some of the spices I like to add in the mix.
And for me, art direction should be built with design, 1-in-1.

Fall 2019 Global Launch Campaign
In 2019, The North Face launched FUTURELIGHT™, the most advanced breathable-waterproof fabric ever created. To introduce this revolutionary technology created with athletes, we challenged world explorers to defy their own limitations and to explore the future with an awakened curiosity to take
on the impossible, because FUTURELIGHT™ is Made To Defy.
This was one of the brand’s biggest campaigns to date.
